The presentation of the united stand “Mass media of the Republic of Belarus and Union State” will be held on November 21 at the 15th international exhibition Press-2008 in Moscow. The exhibition will showcase leading Belarusian and Russian media outlets as well as companies funded from the Union State budget, BelTA learnt in the Union State Permanent Committee. During the presentation of the stand, a multimedia film “Mass Media of Belarus and the Union State” will be held. A round-table discussion “Union State: prospects and importance of the interregional information cooperation” is scheduled for November 22. Attending the event will be representatives of the Permanent Committee, Information Ministry of Belarus, directors of the leading Belarusian and Russian media outlets. The 15th international exhibition Press-2008 will run on November 21-24 in the All-Russia Exhibition Center. Over 3,000 media outlets will take part in the exhibition, including TV and radio companies, producers of newsprint and polygraphic equipment, IT companies, news agencies, distributors of printed matter, consulting and research companies, education establishments, recruiting agencies, etc. Belarus has been taking part in the exhibition since 2005.
