Belarusian film director Maria Mozhar will present her debut film “Enemies” at the contest of the 14th Minsk International Film Festival Listapad 2007 which will be held on November 17-24, Valentina Stepanova, the director of the film festival, told a press conference on October 30. On the whole, 19 movies will take part in the contest. Apart from the contest, Listapad 2007 will present a big art-program. Events of the film forum will be held in the oblast centers and a number of regions of Belarus for the first time. Gala concert “For Gifted Belarus!” with the participation of guests from Russia, Ukraine and other states will become the main event of the festival. The Belarusian Video Center has prepared the program “Men of Faith” which will be presented in all the oblast centers of the country. A lot of artistic meetings and master-classes will be held. Guests of the festival will meet not only with Minsk residents but they will visit other regions of this country. The program of the festival includes the demonstration of the film “Scattered Nest” devoted to 125th anniversary of the birth of Yanka Kupala. During the festival the people engaged in movie art will have meetings to discuss their professional issues. The guests will pay a visit to the National Film Studio Belarusfilm.
