Belarus Investment Forum opened in the Church House Conference Centre of London on November 18. The work of the forum is led by Belarusian Prime Minister Sergei Sidorsky. More than 70 investment projects are presented at the forum. They include the construction of a plant to produce buses at the Minsk Automobile Plant, the setting up of a facility to manufacture flat products at the Belarusian Steel Works, the construction of cascades of hydroelectric stations on the Zapadnaya Dvina and Dnepr Rivers, the creation of the Belarusian seaport and many other projects. Taking part in the forum are the organizations of the ministries of industry, energy, architecture and construction, transport and communications, informatization, sport and tourism, agriculture and food, the Belneftekhim, Bellesbumprom, Belgospischeprom, Bellegprom Concerns, oblast executive committees, free economic zones and Belarusian banks. Attending Belarus Investment Forum in London will be representatives of the foreign manufacturing, investment and consulting companies, commercial banks and financial institutions which are interested in developing business contacts with Belarus.
