Belarus and Venezuela are developing five projects dealing with the construction and town-planning. An agreement on the bilateral cooperation in the construction sphere will be signed in Belarus’ Ministry of Architecture and Construction, BelTA learnt from Marco Cardoso, the aide of the Deputy Minister of Housing Construction of Venezuela. The document is expected to be signed in the near future. In line with the bilateral agreements the Belarusian side will take part in the construction projects in Venezuela. In particular, Belarusian specialists will take part in construction and town-planning of the Venezuelan towns of Barinos and Tejerias and also three agro-towns in that country. “Belarusian specialists have good experience of construction and town-planning, - Marco Cardoso noted. – At present, we are thinking how to use the Belarusian technologies in social development of Venezuela. It is one of the most important trends of our cooperation. In line with the task set by Venezuelan President Jugo Chavez, by 2020 the population of the country should live in comfortable apartments and houses”.
