The Vitebsk Veterinary Academy has set up a regional practical training center of agrarians, BelTA learnt in the Academy. The core goals of the center is to introduce innovation forms and methods of practical and production training and energy-saving technologies in meat and dairy productions, to introduce advanced technologies in grain cultivation and fodder storing, to develop new methods of diagnostics, treatment and prevention of animal diseases. Several local companies have been selected for approbation and introduction of new technologies, namely, Vitebsk Broiler Plant, Vitebsk Meat Factory, Lipovtsy, Olgovskoye, Rudakovo. The center will provide training to students of the Vitebsk Veterinary Academy and other educational establishments as well as to agrarians and teachers of universities and secondary schools wishing to enhance their qualifications.
