In Vitebsk Oblast, polluting emissions into the atmosphere have decreased by almost 1.6 thousand tons since the beginning of this year, BelTA learned from Vitebsk Oblast Committee of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection.

In order to restrain the growth of such emissions from stationary sources, certain conditions are established in the permits issued to nature users.
