The CIS observation mission will be led by Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee - Executive Secretary Sergei Lebedev. His nomination was approved during a meeting of the CIS Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives in Minsk on 21 July, BelTA has learned.

The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has confirmed that the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will take place in Minsk on 17 July. The meeting will be chaired by Belarus' Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko. The meeting will be attended by heads of government of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), BelTA has learned.

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko spoke about Belarus' economic development plans for the near future as he met with Atlant employees and members of the student work brigades - participants of the Atlant 2020 project on 10 July, BelTA informs.
